We've compiled a list of the brave San Mateans who gave their lives in the line of duty. As we approach Memorial Day, we hold their names in our hearts and remember their sacrifice.

City Council Approves City Council Recognition Policy and Appropriation

On May 17th, 2021, the San Mateo City Council adopted a Resolution to appropriate $50,000 as a donation for the Fallen Heroes Memorial construction fundraising effort, and approved the Recognition Policy. Click here to watch the Fallen Heroes Memorial presentation.
