Our new City Council campaign finance dashboard is an important part of our ongoing work to improve transparency and access to public information. This tool is the first of its kind in San Mateo County and provides an interactive way for people to easily navigate campaign finance information.
The dashboard covers San Mateo City Council candidates and follows the existing release schedule of Form 460 campaign disclosure filings. The data is current as of 02/07/23. Please visit our Campaign Statements page for more details on reporting requirements and timing.
The dashboard includes:
- Contribution by location (City, elsewhere in County, out of County)
- Contributions by contributor type (individual, business, committee, political party)
- Individual donations of $99 or less are reported as an aggregate amount
- Total campaign expenditures
- Cost per vote received
- Independent expenditures in support/opposition to candidates
