    Sept Nights Web Banner 2022Enjoy outdoor dining, live music, dancing and activities for all ages on the pedestrian mall in Downtown San Mateo during September Nights on B Street. 

    The street will be transformed into an outdoor dining pavilion beneath the twinkle lights. A children's play area will be offered at all three events featuring a jumpy house, games, and other activities for fun-loving attendees of all ages run by our City of San Mateo Parks and Recreation Department. Beer and wine will be available for purchase on site.

    3-5 p.m. - Kids Music featuring Lori and RJ

    6-8 p.m. - Dueling Pianos by Piano Madness

    Join Teen Task Force and earn community service hours by helping at the library. Teens will be assisting library staff with various projects and planning future teen programs at the library. Teen Task Force meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 4-5 PM. Come find us on the 3rd Floor - Teen Lounge at the Main Library. This program is only for students in 8th-12th grade. Authors of The Better College Essay: From Start to Finish (2021), Dr. Elizabeth A. Stone and Meredith Joelle Charlson will walk families through their successful process of tackling essay writing.
