This program is for teens in the 8th - 12th grade Draw and compare a realistic face to a manga style face with different expressions. Chibis, cute and small character types, are taught along with standard proportions for manga style characters. This is a zoom workshop, participants will need to be prepared to draw with their own materials. Signup required. This project is a program of the San Mateo Public Library, supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
Join us on Wednesdays for a special in-person storytime in the park! Please remember to bring your own floor covering and sun protection. Masks are required for all over the age of 2 regardless of vaccination status. We’ve expanded the attendee limit, so register in advance for your spot.
Explore yoga-inspired movement and mindfulness practices for kids as young as preschool. Instruction is provided by a Stories, Songs & Stretches Trained Facilitator, not a registered Yoga instructor. Adult caregiver must be present at all times. Participants should bring their own mat. Registration is required.
