Teen Lounge, 3rd Floor
Bring an item of clothing that needs to be mended and learn how to fix it yourself. Hand stitch or use a sewing machine. For teens in the 8th - 12th grades.
Join other writers in a supportive and social group for writers of all kinds every Thursday evening at the San Mateo Public Library. Whether you write for personal, professional, or other reasons, come prepared to work. This is not a critique or sharing group, but you are welcome to discuss your work during check-in time between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. Writing is solitary, and this meeting is a chance to connect, and sometimes commiserate with other writers. Come late and leave early if you need to and bring a charged laptop as outlets are limited. California Writers Club-SF Peninsula Branch facilitate these weekly meetings. Meeting rooms will vary so please email Cynthia McCarthy at cmccarthy@cityofsanmateo.org for notifications and updates.
