December 3, 2019, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ San Mateo Main Library, Oak Room
This is an SBDC workshop hosted by the City of San Mateo and the San Mateo SBDC outlining a strategic response to the minimum wage.
On January 1, 2020, the minimum wage in the Cities of San Mateo, Redwood City, and Belmont will be $15.38 per hour and will increase annually by the regional Consumer Price Index (CPI). Many other Cities in the County are in the process of passing similar legislation. Come learn what these increases mean for food service establishments.
We’ll also talk about some best practices that have been done in other communities to manage increasing costs of doing business.
• What’s the increase for your area?
• Raising Prices: If So, How Much?
• How should I tell my customers?
• Strategic Cost Management
• Tech-based Sales & Marketing
• Off-premise occasions
• To tip, or not to tip
