Earth Day Photo Contest

Join our Earth Day Photo Contest for a chance to win prizes!

What does being sustainable mean to you? Is it tending to a garden? Picking up litter? Teaching kids about water conservation? Show us how you support sustainability in San Mateo! Three winners will be chosen and receive a “zero waste” kit that includes reusable items you can take on the go! Participation is easy:

  1. By 5 p.m. April 30, email photo and caption to sustainability@cityofsanmateo.org.
  2. Photos will be shared on our social media pages and website.
  3. People can help pick the winners by visiting the City of San Mateo social media profiles and “liking” your favorite photo in the Earth Day Photo Contest album.
Eligibility: Anyone who lives or works in San Mateo is encouraged to participate. Photos must be your own.
