This influential position is appointed by the Council. A City Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our municipal government while implementing policy direction set by the Council.

Responsibilities of a City Manager:

Oversees 11 City departments including Parks and Recreation, Public Works, Finance, Community Development, Police and more.
Manages an organization of about 700 employees who collectively serve a community of nearly 105,000 residents.
Oversees City finances, including a roughly $170 million annual operating budget and a capital improvement program of about $810 million over the next five years.
