These projects are consistent with the Single Family Dwelling Guidelines and
comply with applicable Zoning Code requirements.


PA17-063 - 1686 Borden Street - Single Family Dwelling Design Review (SFDDR) for 1,263 square-foot second story addition to an existing one-story single family dwelling. This project also includes two new second-story balconies facing the streets.

PA17-054 - 22 Seville Way - Single Family Dwelling Design Review (SFDDR) for a 378 square-foot second story addition to an existing two-story single family dwelling. This project also includes a new, uncovered second-story balcony in the rear.

Central Park Master Plan
Public Review and Comment Period in Progress 

30-day public review and comment period on the environmental review document (Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration) began on October 30, 2017.

Waters Office Park Residential Pre-Application
A neighborhood meeting was held on November 9th.
Topic: The proposed redevelopment of a 11.1 acre property located off of Norfolk Street. All buildings in the existing business office park would be demolished and replaced with a mix of 190 for-sale residences. Also proposed is a new publicly accessible, privately-owned trail along Borel Creek and private open space.
4 West Santa Inez / I Engle Road Condominiums

Planning Commission adopted the Written Findings of Denial at their meeting of October 10, 2017. The applicants have submitted an appeal to City Council. The appeal is scheduled for the City Council meeting on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. A public notice postcard will be sent out no later than 10 days before the scheduled meeting.
Bay Meadows Phase II - SPAR #1 Modification

An Informational Neighborhood Meeting hosted by the master developer Wilson Meany for Bay Meadows Phase II- SPAR # 1 Modification planning application was held on November 13th.

The proposed application includes modifications to the size and exterior design of the previously approved office buildings at the Bay Meadows II Station Office Blocks #1 and #5, originally approved by the City Council in April 2008. Office Block 1 is located at the NW corner of E. 28th Avenue and S. Delaware Street and Office Block 5 is at the SW corner of E. 31st Avenue and S. Delaware Street. The purpose of this meeting is to get preliminary comments from the neighborhood regarding the proposed project.  After this meeting, the applicant will submit a planning application with the City of San Mateo.
