Team Up to Clean Up

The Team Up to Clean Up's next scheduled cleanup is taking place on Saturday, January 21st from 8:00am – 10:00am, location is TBD. If you are interested in joining, please register online on our Volunteer Site.

Seasonal Opportunities

Adopt-A-Drain Program

Participate in the City of San Mateo’s Adopt-A-Drain program by taking an active role in improving your neighborhood and keeping our bay clean and free of debris.

Claim your drain , pick up city-provided supplies, and clean your drain(s). Find drains to adopt near your home or work and encourage your neighbors, friends, and family to help. A little volunteer effort goes a long way in helping protect our waterways and the environment.

One Day Opportunity

Fixit Clinic

The City of San Mateo Main Library will host a Fixit Clinic on Saturday, January 14, 2023 11:00 am – 2:00 pm in the Oak Room. Fixit Clinics are free community-based educational workshops where neighbors, friends and families work collectively to learn about and repair their broken items.

Do you like to fix things? Are you looking to promote repair in your community? You can sign up to be a volunteer Fixit Clinic Coach.
