The 16.3-acre park features a variety of amenities including the Japanese Garden, Fitzgerald Ballfield, children’s train and playground, Kohl Pumphouse, and recreation center.

At the Monday, Oct. 17 City Council meeting at 7 p.m., the City Council will consider an ordinance that will require all-electric new construction and enhanced electric vehicle charging infrastructure beyond state requirements for new buildings.

The draft ordinance will also prohibit extension of fuel gas infrastructure in backyards for things like firepits, grills or pools.
