Upcoming Summer Outreach Activities, Online Survey & Meetings

We are making progress on our Strive San Mateo - General Plan 2040 update and want to hear from you! We are hosting a virtual workshop this Thursday, September 8 and an in-person open house on Saturday, September 17, as well as other events to hear YOUR ideas about:

• Community design

• Parks and public services

• Climate change

• Health, pollution, and safety

• Transportation and circulation

• Land use and development

Community feedback helped develop the draft goals, policies and actions for the General Plan and now the City is seeking community input to understand if they reflect the community's priorities and whether there are new ideas to consider.

Choose how you want to participate! Attend a virtual workshop, an in-person open house, complete an online survey, and/or stop by our booth at locations throughout the city.

To show our appreciation for your participation, we will be holding raffles for gift cards at the workshops listed below!

Informational Virtual Workshop

Join us for a virtual workshop to share your input on the draft goals, policies, and actions that will guide future City decision-making.

In-Person Open House

Share your ideas on the draft goals, policies, and actions at an in-person open house. Stop by any time between 10 am and 12 pm. There will be a short presentation at the start of the event.
