Seasonal Opportunity

Jr. Warriors Basketball Coach

Use your talents and passion for basketball to make a difference in San Mateo by coaching community kids in the 2022 Junior Warriors Basketball League at the King Recreation Center.

Responsibilities include:
• Assist coaches in conducting practices and games weekly
• Active participation during practices
• Set-up and clean-up equipment
• Be on time

Ongoing Opportunity

Tween Volunteer

Are you in 5th-8th grade? Interested in earning volunteer hours with your public library? This is the opportunity for you!

The Library welcomes tween volunteers in 5th grade through 8th grade to participate in our Tween Task Force. Volunteers must be at least in 5th grade to apply.

Tweens will complete a variety of tasks to help the library and our community! This could mean cleaning up our bookshelves, making craft packs for programs, creating a fun props for librarians to use during a storytime or participating in programs!
