One-Day Opportunity

Team Up to Clean Up - Monthly Cleanup

The Team Up to Clean Up's next scheduled cleanup is taking place on Saturday, August 21st from 8:00am – 10:00am at Laurie Meadows Park (intersection of Laurie Meadows Dr. and Rosilie St). If you are interested in joining, please register online on our Volunteer Site.

Ongoing Opportunity

Dance or Fitness Co-Host

Interested in volunteering and staying active at the same time? Look no further! Volunteer as a Dance or Fitness Cohost Monitor to take a class for FREE while helping out with a valuable class. Volunteer duties include the following:

Assist in class(es) for the entire session
Take attendance during class/as patrons walk into in-person classes or admit them using the class attendance sheet if virtual
Track Free Class Coupons & Make Up Slips used in all classes

San Mateo Dance Association Member

The San Mateo Dance Association is looking for board members to volunteer their time to assist with any of the following activities:

Attend 3 Board Meetings
Membership data entry & mailing
Visit sponsors
Produce 2 newsletters (Dance Moves) annually
Develop Agenda, minutes edits, other doc reviews.
Secretary on Minutes
Communications:
Photography - cropping, editing, and printing photos for display + Spring brochure
Office support handling memberships, leotard order forms, and guest registrations
Bank deposits & financial statements
Ordering Dance Crew gifts
Spring and Holiday Dance Shows (rehearsals, setup, takedown, show, shopping)
Facebook management and other marketing opportunities

Dance Crew for Youth

Do you love dancing and want to be part of a Dance Crew? Join the City's Dance Crew for Youth. Responsibilities are listed below:

Assist in dance classes and/or Dance Office from September to June
Volunteering through summer is ideal but not required
Attend 2 trainings a year (typically in October and May)
Volunteer for at least 2 hours with the Prop Party (helping make props and costumes in November)
Volunteer for at least 2 hours at both Dance Shows (Holiday Festival of Dance & Spring Dance Show) either backstage and/or performing with the class you assist
