The City of San Mateo is transitioning to a new volunteer site. This new site allows users to apply for volunteer opportunities, track volunteer hours, download a unique volunteer resume, and see what type of volunteer opportunities are available.

Citywide Yard Sale

The City of San Mateo is hosting its annual Citywide Yard Sale on July 31, 2021 from 8 AM - 2 PM.

ONGOING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Volunteer with CASA of San Mateo County

Are you looking for a way to impact the life of a youth in need? As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with CASA of San Mateo County, you support a youth in the child welfare or juvenile justice systems to ensure they have a consistent and caring adult who speaks on their behalf and helps them reach their full potential. A CASA volunteer works with one child or youth, meeting weekly for the duration of their case. As a CASA, you are spending time getting to know them and building trust to find out what they need, ensuring their voice is heard in court, in school and in life. Consider becoming a CASA volunteer because youth in foster care and in the juvenile justice system need their CASA's now more than ever.
