CASA

Volunteer with CASA of San Mateo County

Are you looking for a way to impact the life of a youth in need? As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) with CASA of San Mateo County, you support a youth in the child welfare or juvenile justice systems to ensure they have a consistent and caring adult who speaks on their behalf and helps them reach their full potential. A CASA volunteer works with one child or youth, meeting weekly for the duration of their case.

As a CASA, you are spending time getting to know them and building trust to find out what they need, ensuring their voice is heard in court, in school and in life. Consider becoming a CASA volunteer because youth in foster care and in the juvenile justice system need their CASA's now more than ever. If you are interested in learning more about the volunteering with CASA of San Mateo County, please contact us at info@casaofsanmateo.org and sign up for an info session at https://www.casaofsanmateo.org/volunteer.

The City of San Mateo's Volunteer website has lots of resources for other volunteer opportunities. Please consider checking out the site for more information.
