Hotspots and Chromebooks are now available to check out through our curbside pick-up service at the Main Library!  No appointment is needed.

Call (650) 522-7818 and staff will assist you with reserving a device.  Due to the limited number of devices, when one is available, the device will be held for you to pick-up within two curbside service days.  

You must be a San Mateo Public Library cardholder (your card must begin with "29047") and be in good standing to check out a device.  Returns will be accepted in-person at the door during curbside pickup hours.   The loan period for MiFi hotspots and Chromebooks is 21 days with no renewals. The overdue charge is $1.00 a day per item.
