Make a Donation to the Memorial
The preliminary construction estimate is approximately $240,000 which is anticipated to be raised through fund raising efforts. Sponsorship Information Design costs for RRM’s work are currently included in their contract for the first phase design development for the Central Park Master Plan which also includes development of playground concepts and is funded by the Department.
The Fallen Heroes Memorial installation will honor servicemembers, police, and firefighters who've died in the line of duty.
Sponsorships
The San Mateo Fallen Heroes Memorial currently has four levels of sponsorships available:
STANDARD SPONSORSHIP
$5,000
- Your name or your company’s name will be featured on the Memorial for Fallen Heroes page on the City of San Mateo’s Memorial website.
- Your name or your company’s name will be included in all advertisements, articles and promotional materials generated by the City of San Mateo that relate to the Memorial for Fallen Heroes
- You or your company will receive two tickets for the Fallen Heroes Pre-Groundbreaking and Pre-Ribbon cutting receptions.
$10,000
- Your name or your company’s name and logo will be featured on the Memorial for Fallen Heroes page on the City of San Mateo’s Memorial website.
- Your name or your company’s name and logo will be included in all advertisements, articles and promotional materials generated by the City of San Mateo related to the Memorial for Fallen Heroes.
- You or your company will receive up to four tickets to the Pre-Groundbreaking and Pre-Ribbon cutting receptions.
$15,000
- Your name or your company’s name and logo will be featured on the Memorial for Fallen Heroes page on the City of San Mateo’s Memorial website.
- You or your company’s name and logo will be included in all advertisements, articles and promotional materials generated by the City of San Mateo related to the Memorial for Fallen Heroes.
- You or your representative will participate in the actual cutting of the ribbon at the Ribbon cutting ceremony.
- You or your company will receive up to six tickets for the Pre-Groundbreaking Reception and the Pre-Ribbon cutting reception.
- Your company’s corporate signage will be placed at Memorial for Fallen Heroes events and activities.
- You or your company representative will have an opportunity to speak at the Pre-Groundbreaking and Pre-Ribbon cutting receptions.
$25,000
- Your name or your company’s name and logo will feature prominently on the Memorial for Fallen Heroes page on the City of San Mateo’s Memorial website.
- You or your company’s name and logo will be included in all advertisements, articles and promotional materials generated by the City of San Mateo related to the Memorial for Fallen Heroes.
- Your company’s corporate signage will be strategically placed at Memorial for Fallen Heroes events and activities.
- You or your company representative will participate in the actual breaking of ground at the Groundbreaking ceremony and receive a commemorative shovel.
- You or your representative will participate in the actual cutting of the ribbon at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
- You or your company representative will have a brief opportunity to speak at the Groundbreaking and Ribbon cutting ceremonies and select special events.
- You or your company will receive up to ten tickets for the Pre-Groundbreaking Reception and the Pre-Ribbon cutting reception.
- Your name or your company name and/or logo will appear on all event tickets.
