Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence is the leading national not-for-profit provider of micro loans and business education for women entrepreneurs. Count Me In provides microloans ranging from $500 to $10,000 to women who are starting or growing their businesses. First loans must be $5,000 or less, but each time a loan is repaid in full business owners are eligible to borrow again.
The State of California Department of General Services offers Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) and Small Business Certification programs to increase business opportunities by helping these businesses participate on a more level playing field when competing for state contracts and purchases.
Women's Initiative for Self Employment provides a one-stop shop where high-potential, lower-income women receive training to start and grow their business.
