Legal Services
Legal Services for Entrepreneurs (LSE) is a program offered by the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights.
LSE provides free business legal services to low-income individuals, including women and persons of color, who want to start or develop for-profit businesses and select for-profit businesses committed to community economic development.
The legal services provided by LSE and its participating law firms are limited to business law matters and do not include services related to disputes, claims, or lawsuits. Examples of available business law assistance include entity formation, intellectual property (trademark and copyright issues), commercial leases, zoning compliance, employment issues, and customer/supplier contracts.
