Martin Luther King Poetry & Essay Contest
Join P&R and the North Central Neighborhood Association annually for a night of free expression celebrating the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Young writers from preschool to 12th grade can write and recite poems and essays honoring the great MLK. We then gather for a celebration and awards ceremony featuring singing, entertainment and guest speakers. Most importantly, we honor the accomplishments of the contest writers. This event normally takes place mid-January every year.
