  1. Exhibit: Jane Austen Society of North America

    March 4, 2017 - April 29, 2017, All Day @ 2nd Floor Display Case

    The Jane Austen Society of North America is dedicated to the enjoyment and appreciation of Jane Austen and her writing. The Northern California chapter presents a display titled, “The mode in hats and headdresses during the lifetime of Jane Austen + 16 years. 1775-1833.” The display features caps, turbans and hats on heads with period appropriate paper hairdos. Each hat is presented and described along with its inspiration, which may include a period fashion plate, portrait or extant hat.

  1. Global Explorations - 72 Cutest Animals - Small and Tall

    This series examines the nature of cuteness and how adorability helps some animal species to survive and thrive in a variety of environments. It's the giant giraffe versus the world's smallest penguins in this contest for cuteness, with alpacas, orangutans and dolphins putting in their bids.
