Attend two community meetings to learn about proposed sewer rate increases

Two community information sessions taking place on March 28 and March 30 will inform about the Clean Water Program and proposed sewer rate increases required to fund much-needed infrastructure improvements.

The San Mateo community is invited to attend either of the two meetings to learn about the Clean Water Program being implemented by San Mateo's Public Works Department. This multi-year capital improvement program will upgrade our sanitary sewer system and the wastewater treatment plant to improve service, align with the city's sustainability goals, and comply with regulatory requirements to protect the environment and public health for years to come. These meetings will provide information about proposed sewer rate increases to help fund these necessary improvements in our city's vital infrastructure.
