About the Senior Center


Our Senior Center hosts a vibrant mix of activities. On any given day at the Senior Center, there can be a dozen things happening from yoga classes to a history seminar, from bingo to billiards or mahjong. If you are 50+, we encourage you to visit us. Once you visit, we’re sure you’ll find a reason to come back.

  • Assembly: 175 occupancy
  • Conference: 12 occupancy

Regular Senior Center Programming


Bingo
Every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm. (Doors open at 1:30pm) and
2nd and 4th Friday from 2pm to 4pm. (Doors open at 1:30pm)
Book Discussion Group
The Book discussion group meets at the San Mateo Senior Center on 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am. Feel free to join us. No pre-registration required. Drop-ins welcome. If you are interested visit the reading list.

On Fridays from 9am-10:15am, you can reconnect with the musician inside of you with the help of our band volunteer leading the way.
Chorus
On Fridays from 10:30am - 11:30am, you can sing away with other people who love music.
World Current Events
On Fridays from 1:30pm - 3:30pm, join Eric Gattman, former professor on current events, as he leads a lively dialogue on today’s world events.
